Fulbright Foreign Student Program

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is a prestigious U.S. government-funded scholarship that offers Ghanaians the opportunity to pursue master’s or Ph.D. degrees at accredited U.S. universities. It promotes cultural exchange and academic excellence.

Eligibility for Ghanaian Applicants

  • Open to Ghanaian citizens residing in Ghana.
  • Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree (for master’s) or a master’s degree (for Ph.D.).
  • Strong academic record and leadership potential.
  • Proficiency in English (TOEFL/IELTS required unless exempt).
  • No recent or extensive U.S. study experience.
