About the UNIL Masters Scholarship
This scholarship offers financial assistance to top-performing students entering Master’s programs at UNIL. However, the stipend provided may not cover all living expenses in Switzerland. While recipients are exempt from most registration fees, they must pay a semester fee of CHF 80.
Who Can Apply? – Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Hold a degree from a foreign university equivalent to a UNIL Bachelor’s degree before the start of the Master’s.

Meet the language requirements:

B2 in French or

C1 in English, based on the language of the program.

Not be enrolled at UNIL prior to applying.

Pay a CHF 200 administration fee as part of the application.
Note: Withdrawing from the program leads to an automatic cancellation of the scholarship.
Scholarship Coverage and Duration

Monthly stipend of CHF 1,600 (from Sept 15 to July 15 each academic year).

Duration: Covers the full length of the Master’s program (1.5 to 2 years), unless the student fails after the first year.
