
Overview of Vancouver Cultural Exchange Program 2025
The Discover Vancouver: Cultural Exchange Program, hosted by Candiscover Travel Corp, offers a unique, three-day immersive experience for 30 international participants to explore the vibrant culture, natural beauty, and historical richness of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
This initiative is designed to foster global understanding of Canadian culture by engaging participants in visits to iconic landmarks, museums, and institutions, while encouraging meaningful cross-cultural dialogue and international connections.

Funding Opportunities
The program offers two tiers of funding:
Fully Funded (10 participants):
- Round-trip international airfare
- Accommodation and meals in Canada
- Admission to museums and cultural sites
- Local transportation and guided excursions
Partially Funded (20 participants):
- Accommodation and meals in Canada
- Admission to museums and cultural sites
- Local transportation and guided excursions
(Participants are responsible for covering their own airfare)
All successful applicants will receive an official invitation letter to support their Canadian visa application.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Proficient in English communication (no formal certification required)
- Previous international travel experience is preferred
- Demonstrated interest in Canadian culture, history, and global engagement
- Active presence on social media is advantageous (especially photographers, videographers, travel bloggers, and content creators)
- Open to individuals from all academic and professional backgrounds
Program Schedule
Day 1: Cultural and Historical Exploration
- Participant arrival and welcome orientation
- City tour featuring Gastown, Canada Place, and Stanley Park
- Visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery
- Evening networking reception with fellow participants and local cultural representatives
Day 2: Indigenous Heritage & Natural Landscapes
- Excursion to Grouse Mountain for scenic views and outdoor activities
- Cultural workshop with First Nations representatives
- Culinary and artistic tour of Granville Island
- Sunset walk along Vancouver’s coastline followed by a group dinner
Day 3: Innovation and Farewell
- Visit to Science World Vancouver for interactive exhibits
- Guided tour of Queen Elizabeth Park and Bloedel Conservatory
- Closing ceremony and farewell reflections
Application Process
Prospective participants must submit an application by July 31, 2025, accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $50 USD. Due to the competitive nature of the program, early applications are highly encouraged.
